Job Description
Leading international consultancy seeks a Senior Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor level candidate with experience of working on rail projects, to join their established team in Stratford. This is a contract role which offers hybrid working and will see you play a crucial role in leading the commercial delivery of a variety of rail projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects and financial performance projects
Provide accurate cost advice and prepare estimates for projects
Ensure effective cost control and risk management
Review and negotiate contracts and ensure compliance
Oversee the preparation of tender documents and procurement
Lead a team and provide guidance and support
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
Job Requirements
Significant experience in Quantity Surveying within the Rail industry
Strong knowledge of commercial management, contract administration, and risk assessment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient in using relevant software and tools
