Our last job entailed selling tonnes (literally tonnes) of meat. Then we felt bad. Also, we felt like meat-alternatives weren't really for people who love the taste of meat. We felt like they were for people who like sandals and socks. So we've basically ended up making THIS for ourselves, but we'd love other meat-lovers to nom nom it too. THIS is a game-changer.At our core, we believe:Stereotypes around plant-based food need to be bulldozedGuilt-trips don’t make people hungryPlant-based food should mean zero compromise - this is how we can recruit more meat reducers to the categoryWhat’s with this role?The successful candidate will join the company's Out-of-Home channel, reporting into the OOH Controller and will have direct line management of a Senior Commercial Executive. The candidate will play a key part in developing the total Foodservice total strategy, targeting areas for growth and improving ways of working as a key member of the Sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and have a real, tangible impact on the business.What will you be getting up to?Owning and setting a clear direction for FoodserviceOwning & growing our core national wholesalers: driving free trade business and unlocking large end users across multiple sectors (B&I, Leisure, Healthcare, Education, Restaurants & Hotels)Account managing and growing our ‘beacon’ restaurant chains, manufacturing partners and meal-box solution customers.Managing and coaching a direct report (Commercial Executive) to perform at their best and to grow our regional wholesalers, small chains and independentsWeekly/monthly sales forecasting, tracking & reportingGrowing our distribution of core SKUs and landing NPDConstructing and negotiating commercial termsExecuting exceptional customer JBPs that deliver against company targets, goals, and objectivesWorking alongside the Category Manager to build bespoke sell-in stories by analysingSalesOut data and market trends to identify areas for growthVisiting customers and prospects to establish and build long-lasting relationshipsSupporting at tradeshows and fully managing trade events alongside the Marketing teamWhat are we looking for?Someone with a minimum of 4 years in FMCG (specifically Out-of-Home experience) – you must be passionate and knowledgeable about Foodservice, the wider OOH channel and the food industry.Someone who’s not afraid to do things differentlyThe ability to pick up accounts quickly and a solid history of driving customer growthA willingness to meet customers face-to-faceExperience in a field sales role is massive benefit but not a mustAlignment with our company values:You’ve Got THIS: You’re tenacious, always proactively hustling and have a positive attitude.
