As such, they understand the importance of growing a business together, so whether this is the kind of fresh venture you've always wanted, you've come to a standstill in your career, or you feel like you want to test yourself in a new environment, then they are right for you.Responsibilities:Manage client and supplier relationship managementHelp to develop the company's service offering and capabilityHelp to deliver suitable sales opportunities to drive company growthDevelop procurement and commercial strategiesOwning and assisting on pre-sourcing market analysisAuthoring and supporting business cases for new procurementsManage tender activities using public sector frameworksSupplier performance managementUndertake value-for-money analysis for business cases and tendersAdvise on compliance with Public Contract Regulations and Defence & Security Public Contract Regulations as well as the clients' internal policies and proceduresCarry out Contract Management and ensure that files are up to date, providing an auditable trail of effective managementRequirements:You will be an experienced commercial & procurement professional, with a good background in public sector procurement, as well as a comprehensive understanding of IT procurement. You will be someone who appreciates the challenges of creating something new and is excited to 'roll up their sleeves' to get things done to build the company.Successful candidate likely to hold or be working towards CIPS/MCIPS or IACCM accreditationStrong track record of deliveryAbility to build effective relationships with clientsStrong business acumen, able to adapt to different clients and quickly pick up new tasks or use initiative to seek out and resolve problemsComprehensive understanding of Public Contract Regulations and ideally experience operating in the Defence or Security sectorStrong understanding of technology procurement from a business perspective, i.e. knowledge of different types of technologies such as cloud, PaaS, SaaSAbility to identify and manage commercial risk & opportunity through effective contractingAbility to deliver results to meet contracted deadlines and customer expectationsMust have or be eligible for SC
