Band 7 Senior Research Nurse-Two posts are available The post holders will work in the Clinical Research Facility in Brighton, overseeing a diverse portfolio of studies which may include but not limited to Infectious Diseases, Acute Care, Surgery, ITU ,Neurology, ENT and Ophthalmology. The role may involve working with other teams in various locations within the Trust. The role will provide excellent professional and clinical leadership promoting the effective delivery of a high standard of nursing care for all research participants and contributing to the development of the service, practice and individuals . Managerial responsibilities include managing a core CRF clinical team and being instrumental in delivering recruitment targets, implementing team objectives to enhance the performance and development of the team members.Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Research Nurse you will be expected to lead a team of nurses and others delivering a diverse clinical research portfolio. The role requires a level of research experience as well as sound leadership experience. The role will involve daily management of research activities within the facility, as well as supporting the Lead Nurse with the wider portfolio management and working to meet strategic objectives. Ensuring the successful execution and completion of research projects within specified timelines is crucial.
