We’re looking for a Senior Specialist Surgical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Teamat the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding” by the CQC. London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK’s largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.The postholder will be responsible for providing and developing a ward-based clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation service, to all surgical specialties across the London Bridge Hospital Campus. They will act as an expert resource in medicines during the perioperative period, contributing to treatment protocols, guidelines and training and education of staff, linking in with the wider multidisciplinary team and our theatres/critical care pharmacists as required. They will be a VTE champion for pharmacy and as a key member of the senior Pharmacy team they will represent the department in relevant committees such as ERAS, Thrombosis.At HCA UK we care about what you care about. Extensive experience as a pharmacist with some experience in surgery
