Senior Claims Executive - Top Tier Insurance Broker

Job DescriptionMiryco Consultants are working with a top tier insurance broker to add a Senior Claims Executive with a speciality in Natural Resources to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an exciting Claims Team, working within the Lloyd's of London Market.Key responsibilities:Develop relationships with markets and manage and contribute to projects.Negotiate to ensure the best outcome for clients.Present claims to underwriters, deal with any queries, responding appropriately to clients, insurers and relevant internal departments.Update clients and insurers on notifications on claims, liaising with third parties if required.Investigate and solve queries from clients, insurers and third parties, developing strong relationships to ensure the best outcomes for clients and business.Experience and skills required:Previous Claims experience (preferably with an international broker) and in loss adjusting claims. Understanding of the claims-handling process.Experience in the Natural Resources sector.Good understanding of insurance and the London market operations (Lloyd's and company markets).Knowledge of the broking and underwriting processes.Knowledge of the market and awareness of competitors, cultural awareness.Understanding of requirements of the regulatory environment.Proactive worker with the ability to build strong relationships.Organised with good analytical abilities.Location: London.Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 rangeThis will be a hybrid working role, with around 2-3 days in office per week.Please note, our client is unable to offer sponsorship for this opportunity.
