Senior Civil Engineer Fareham £50,000 per annum plus bonus and impressive benefits package Hybrid with flexible (full-time) hours Permanent Our client a fast-growing and award-winning consultancy is looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their growing team. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Work within a Civil Engineering design team responsible for the design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemes, Work in a design office, with regular exposure to developers, architects and local authorities. Undertake and manage team resource for design work for Drainage systems & On and off-site highway features Be responsible for writing fee proposals, Proficient in AutoCAD and Site 3D or equivalent 3D software, Have knowledge of and willing to learn other engineering software, Reviewing of junior team members reports, design and drawing work, Attend client meetings and site visits, Co-operate with the Quality Management System (QMS) through undertaking administrative activities Mentoring and training of junior staff Support our regional offices and other departments through knowledge sharing
Senior Civil Engineer Requirements:
A degree or HND in Civil Engineering Preferred: Incorporated Engineer (IEng) [or working towards] with the Institution of Civil Engineers 5+ years’ of consultancy experience Experience working with local authorities, developers and architects on civil engineering aspects of residential, commercial and retirement/care schemes Varied experience working on schemes through the planning process; from pre-app through to condition discharge Civil engineering project management experience including projects combining drainage, external works and highway elements.
