Position OverviewTechnical designs for both new build and refurbishment projectsLead the team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.Preparation of reports, e.g. Flood Risk and Drainage Assessments, Transport Assessments.Preparation of technical specifications.Civil engineering Masterplanning.Civil engineering design development, e.g. roads, drainage, building regulations approvals, Sections 38 /104 /278.Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion.Ensure quality control and question whether carbon footprint can be reduced within designAttend design team meetings and site visit. Position RequirementsDegree Qualified within Civil Engineering or a similar disciplineChartered, or currently approaching chartered status with the ICE.Experience in leading a design team.Technically strong in civil engineeringExperience with SUDs design, from concept through to implementation.must have AutoCAD and Microdrainage/Infodrainage, and ideally Civils 3DExperience within highways, public realm and the civil engineering industry.Produce designs following CDM regulations.Knowledge of and BIM processes.Over 7 years' experience in infrastructure designFull UK Driving LicenceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
