Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Type: Contract

Day Rate: Dependant on experience
Role
You will work in the Roads or Bridges maintenance teams within the roads directorate's Network Maintenance Unit, responsible for managing Transport Scotland's Maintenance agents. You will be responsible for capital and revenue maintenance programmes and budgets within a specified region, as part of a wider team of professional Chartered Engineers.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Development and delivery of annual programmes of asset maintenance schemes
Work with contracted maintenance agents to ensure effective management of assets, including programmes of inspections
Undertake the Technical Approval Authority role under the design manual for roads and bridges
Essential Requirements
Network Rail or England Highways Experience
Civil Engineering Degree
