Senior Civil Engineer (Client Side - 13715)

We are currently recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer. This is an embedded opportunity, supporting one of our key clients within the Nuclear Defence Industry.Location wise, this is a hybrid opportunity, workingfrom the client's site at Devonport Dockyard, on average once a month for 2/3 days.Please note the ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance is essential, uplifted to SC prior to a start.Role Description:To assist the Discipline Lead in delivery of the structural engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost.Responsible for managing the technical deliverables of the structural engineering packages in line with the planned deliverables agreed by the Discipline Lead.Civil engineering detailed design, specifications, calculations, managing designs through approvals etc.Essential Experience & Qualifications:A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.5 years prior experience within Civil Engineering.Ideally worked on Nuclear Defence projects previously.Knowledge of seismic engineering.Why us?Nuvia - a subsidiary of VINCI construction - is an international company that operates across highly regulated sectors including Civil Nuclear and has a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally.Nuvia is a performance-driven company that is committed to the development of its people within a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.Nuvia UK is committed towards equality in employment.
