Senior Civil Engineer (Client Side - 13715)

Job Title: Principal Civil Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer. This is an embedded opportunity, supporting one of our key clients within the Nuclear Defence Industry.
Location:
This is a hybrid opportunity, working from the client's site at Devonport Dockyard, on average once a month for 2/3 days.
Please note: The ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance is essential, uplifted to SC prior to a start.
Role Description:
To assist the Discipline Lead in delivery of the structural engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost.
Responsible for managing the technical deliverables of the structural engineering packages in line with the planned deliverables agreed by the Discipline Lead.
Civil engineering detailed design, specifications, calculations, managing designs through approvals etc.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
- 5 years prior experience within Civil Engineering.
- Ideally worked on Nuclear Defence projects previously.
- Knowledge of seismic engineering.
