My Client a�UK leading independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary are seeking a�Senior CAD Technician �to join their expanding Civil Engineering team in Bedford.�

Job Description for Senior CAD Technician

• Preparing drawings to support planning applications.


• Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.


• Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of sites.


• Liaising directly with clients when necessary.

Person Specification (Knowledge and Experience)

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD


• Knowledge of MicroStation� - Desirable


• Excellent presentation skills and drawing set-up


• Previous experience of civil engineering (particularly roads and drainage and�within the residential sector).


• Proactive


• Self-motivated


• Able to work under pressure


• Adaptable to rapidly changing projects


• Proven ability to work well within teams and willingness to take�accountability for own wok.


• Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner.

• Accuracy in drawing word.

Salary

• �32k - �35k depending on experience.
