If so, we have a fabulous opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced and qualified Children's Senior Support Worker to join our family-oriented children's home near Spalding. With an enticing salary range of £27,580 to £28,797 per annum, plus an additional £3,000 to £6,000 for sleep-ins, this role offers both financial reward and heartfelt satisfaction.

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll be the guiding star for children with complex emotional needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties or who display challenging behaviour. Your days will be filled with moments of encouragement, patience, and inspiration, helping these young souls navigate through their challenges and triumphs. You will lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care and support, especially during emotionally taxing times. Your role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing environment where children can grow, develop, and make positive changes in their lives.

More about the role:

You will work with the team to promote and support the young people in our care in leading a life of positive development by providing a safe and nurturing environment.
Ensure the day-to-day management is facilitated in a professional and competent manner and support the Service Manager in providing the best quality care.
Lead a team along with other professionals, to provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
Record events and observations, progress reports, preparing and implementing care plans and records
You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.What do you need?

Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
Great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and highly resilient.
A minimum of 12 months Childrens home experience and a level 3 qualification in residential childcare which will be recognised in your hourly pay rate.
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
Full UK Driving licence is required.
