Senior Chef de Partie Ideal Profile:
Demonstrates several years of experience in kitchen operations, particularly in fresh food environments, with a focus on crafting dishes from scratch using local ingredients
Possesses advanced culinary skills across various cooking techniques and is comfortable working with a diverse range of fresh produce and proteins
Experienced in leading a section of the kitchen and capable of managing and training junior chefs to ensure high standards are consistently met
Contributes creative ideas to menu planning and specials creation, with an understanding of seasonal availability and local sourcing
A strong passion for delivering high-quality food and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation
Able to efficiently manage kitchen inventory, ensure kitchen equipment is maintained, and keep the workspace organized and clean

Senior Chef de Partie Responsibilities:
Take charge of a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, grill, pastry), ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection and in a timely manner
Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals, utilizing fresh ingredients to create dishes that align with the pubs culinary standards
Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their culinary skills
Actively participate in the creation and adjustment of menus and daily specials, ensuring the offerings are innovative and appealing, while also managing food costs and waste
Uphold high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with regulatory guidelines, including the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Manage the ordering and stocking of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring the availability of necessary items and the freshness of food products
