Due to career progression within our Registered Nursing team, Ward 114, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary has an exciting opportunity with the post of Senior Charge Nurse.
Ward 114 is a 31-bed inpatient area providing supportive care for patients with an Oncology diagnosis. This is a fast paced clinical area which delivers systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT) and other therapeutic treatments.
This position will give the successful candidate the platform to enhance their career, developing new and existing skills dependent on the post-registration experience.
An important aspect of the role will be promoting a positive, supportive working environment where patient safety, quality and value of our workforce is paramount. Excellent leadership and communication skills are vital with the ability to develop professional interpersonal relationships.
It is desirable the successful applicant be educated to Degree level and/or studies at Masters Level. You should have evidence of continuing professional development. It is essential that you have significant post registration experience and have a substantial experience at band 6 level.
