Carriera is excited to partner with an award winning multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy in London who is recruiting for a Senior Health & Safety Consultant to join the business and lead on some high profile projects out of their office in London.

Our client has been established for over 70 years with 600+ staff and 12 offices spread throughout the UK. Due to a demand in their H&S/ CDM service the business is looking to bring on board an ambitious senior H&S professional to join the team out of their offices in London.

The Role: 

The role would be focused around offering a H&S and CDM service to their clients in the residential, commercial, education, motorsport, infrastructure, technology, renewable energy, aerospace, heritage, hotel and leisure sectors.
The role would suit a senior safety professional who has previously worked for a property & construction consultancy due to the nature of the work and client facing aspect. The organisation has clear targets for progression and would help the successful candidate work towards Partnership opportunities within the business.

The Duties:

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
• Manage the H&S file, review construction phase plans, maintain pre construction information.
• Attend design team and client meetings.
• Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.
• Overall responsibility for managing and develop a team of H&S Consultants. 
• Responsible for department growth and revenues generated. 

The Person:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Membership to IOSH or APS.
• 3 - 5 years experience delivering H&S/ CDM service to clients.
• Excellent knowledge of CDM 2015 Regs.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
