About the Role:

As a Senior Category Manager, your main goal is to strengthen the collaboration with key grocery customers. You'll be responsible for managing internal processes related to customer insights and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership by offering effective category solutions that drive growth for both parties.
  • Take charge of internal category processes, including reporting and analysis to support sales objectives and business cycles.
  • Build relationships across different levels and departments, using category insights to influence decisions and drive positive changes in-store.
  • Lead range reviews and planogram proposals to optimise product assortment and maximise our market share.
  • Utilise data to extract meaningful insights and manage relationships with external agencies for relevant information.
  • Tailor category growth plans to align with clients’ priorities and enhance our monthly scorecards to track performance.
  • Report on availability performance and collaborate with the sales team on post-review strategies.
  • Support annual brand planning activities by aligning customer priorities and creating compelling proposals.
  • Lead the setting of targets for physical availability in 2025, coordinating with the sales team on distribution strategies.


About You:


  • Proven success in providing valuable insights and recommendations to customers.
  • Ability to persuade customers to implement changes in-store that drive category growth.
  • Skill in simplifying complex data into clear and engaging narratives.
  • Team player mentality, eager to collaborate within a dynamic category team and foster relationships across different departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Central Sales.
  • Strong capability to influence important decision-makers.
