Position Overview:
As a Senior Category Manager with a focus on Category Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy and ensuring the optimal sourcing of goods and services. We are looking for an experienced professional who can leverage their solid knowledge of category management to drive efficiency, cost savings, and supplier collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Management Mastery:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge category management strategies.
  • Utilise market analysis to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive success.

Forge Strong Supplier Relationships:

  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers, driving mutual success.
  • Employ expert negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and contracts, ensuring cost savings and quality assurance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive improvement initiatives as needed.

End-to-End Procurement Leadership:

  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, from sourcing to contract negotiation.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, fostering innovation and diversity in our supply chain.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Data-Driven Insights and Optimisation:

  • Harness the power of data to monitor category performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Generate insightful reports on procurement metrics, providing strategic guidance to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
