Senior Calibration Engineer (Lab Manager)DerbyshireMonday - Friday (40 hrs per week)£40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)We are seeking an experienced Senior Calibration Engineer (Lab Manager) for a well-established structural / construction materials testing organisation.This is a Monday to Friday role offering flexible start / finish times, working out of there UKAS accredited laboratory. The company offers a wide range of calibration tests, including Dimensional, Electrical, Mass, and Force & Torque across many types of instrumentation.Main Duties (not an exhaustive list):Day to day responsibility of the labLeadership of the Calibration Laboratory teamTo build strong working relationships with clients & other sites of the businessAssist as required in expanding the laboratory scopePerform calibrations as requiredWorking with the Quality team to ensure all regulatory / UKAS lab requirements are metExperience Required: Science degree in relevant subjectRelevant training in metrology and calibration activitiesMinimum of 5 years working in / managing a team in a UKAS accredited laboratoryMinimum of 5 years working within MetrologyUnderstanding of BS ISO 17025Experience producing & managing uncertainty budgetsHands on calibration experience in at least one of the following: Electrical, Dimensional, Pressure, Force & Torque, Temp or MassIf you would like to discuss the role further, please click to apply now!(Please note this client does not offer VISA sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience will be considered)Atrium is an equal opportunity employer, and all hiring decisions are subject to international and local employment laws and regulations.
