It also incorporates the energy transition offerings including onshore and offshore oil and gas; LNG/GTL; oil refining; petrochemicals; chemicals; fertilizers; differentiated EPC; maintenance services; floating solutions; program management and consulting services.KBR is looking for a Senior Specialist – Autodesk Systems SupportOverview:Autodesk provide a portfolio of applications used across a wide variety of business sectors within KBR and in many companies worldwide. The expanded usage in these areas mean we are looking to expand our support team to help with the increased demands associated with this increase in usage and the expanding Autodesk portfolio of applications.A Senior Specialist is required to provide support for the implementation and use of these applications by KBR engineers, clients and 3rd parties.Responsibilities:Day to day activities may include:Support Autodesk Applications on new/existing KBR projects these include but are not limited to Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM360, plus others.Creating and maintaining scripting software installsManaging, monitoring and reporting license usageAnswering day to day queries and issues from end usersProblem solving users' problems with software installs and any day-to-day issues logged.Carry out automated and ad hoc data reporting.Recommend standard procedures and best practices.Core Competencies:Good scripting knowledge (PowerShell, or similar)Good knowledge of one or more programming language(s) (LISP, VBA, .Net, C#)Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System (Windows 10 and/or Windows 11)Good knowledge of Windows Server featuresKnowledge of report building (e.g. PowerBI).Work independently with minimal supervision.Must have excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.Initiative to learn and share with others in a global team.Mentor others and lead by example.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Ability to troubleshoot implementations in a systematic way and bring in technical aid as needed.Desired Competencies:Knowledge of a relational database system such SQL Server and associated SQL scripting skillsPrevious knowledge or experience with other similar CAD systems such as Bentley MicrostationExperience in using a large global ticketing system such as Service NowEducation:University/College degree in Computer Science or any Engineering field.Relevant field experience and obtained skills might in some cases make up for lack of University/College degree.Relevant work experience.
