Forward thinking and innovative contractor who design, manufacture, manage and install commercial fit-out projects with specialist joinery and upholstery of the highest quality for some of the UK’s most prestigious contractors and clients. 
 
Alongside bespoke commercial work, they look after luxury residential projects in London and the rest of the UK, Europe and Middle East.
 
Based in Kent (North) in a 'self-built', state-of-the-art manufacturing facility/office, combining intelligent in-house design with traditional skills and craftsmanship and the latest technological advances and automation in manufacturing. They offer detailed proposals, meticulous planning, early design resolution and skilful on-site installation teams, and have delivered high quality projects on time, within budget and with zero defects for the past 14 years.
 
Also impressively achieving FSC accreditation soon after their incorporation, as sourcing timber sustainably is one of the company’s founding principles. Alongside bespoke commercial work, they look after luxury residential projects in London and the rest of the UK, Europe and Middle East.
 
 
The Opportunity:
 
Senior level CAD Designer/ Technician/ Draughtsperson - Joinery (Solidworks, CAD)

• Projects are all prime and super prime residential joinery & upholstery installations and joinery fit out, across London.
• The role will be based in the Kent office/factory.
• You will have a proven background in specialist joinery within the high spec/prime residential market.

 
Key Responsibilities: 
 

• Using Solid Works to create 3D designs and models for the machinery integration project.
• Participate in design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Work with the design and production teams to ensure design specifications and standards are met .
• Provide design solutions that are efficient, feasible, and cost-effective.
• Assist with the testing of the integrated machinery system to ensure functionality and safety.
• SolidWorks 2D and 3D component and product assembly drawings.
• Reviewing and compiling Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Assisting with the uploading of SolidWorks models onto the Product Data Management (PDM) shared server.

Essential experience:
 

• Experience with 'Solidworks' is prerequisite.
• Must have Joinery background and 5+ years experience.
• Knowledge of high-end interiors market ideal not essential. 
• Live in good location to head office (Sittingbourne).
