Senior Business Development / Sales Executive Birmingham / WFH to £58k
Opportunity to progress your career at a not-for-profit within the green energy space, working on a "Tech for Good" product and making a real impact on the UKs mission to be carbon neutral and reach NetZero targets.
The company works with stakeholders across the energy sector (consumers, industry, academia and government) to identify innovation priorities, gaps in the market and overcome barriers to accelerating the decarbonisation of the energy system at the lowest cost.
As a Senior Business Development / Sales Executive you will take ownership of upselling a new, data centric product to the existing client base (mainly public sector clients), leveraging current relationships and warm leads. You'll input into sales strategy and planning and also attend industry events to promote the product.
WFH Policy:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues once a week; you'll be joining a friendly, relaxed team based in Central Birmingham (10 minute walk from 3 mainline stations).
About you:
You have experience of selling digital platforms / products or services
You have experience of selling to public sector clients or energy sector domain experience
You have experience of planning and setting sales strategy
You have excellent communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Ideally you will have an interest in NetZero, Energy Markets or environmental issues
