Senior Business Development Manager
Sector: Events – Exhibitions / Events Tech
Location: London – a short walk from Paddington station.
Salary: £45,000 plus £22, 500 uncapped, realistic and achievable OTE!
Our client, a market-leading events company, is seeking a proven, confident and driven Senior Business Development Manager to join their established team in London.
Tasked with driving new business acquisition, the Senior Business Development Manager’s responsibilities will include:

Harnessing the technology provided, such as Sales Navigator and HubSpot, the Senior BDM will use their proven self-generation techniques to prospect technology businesses within the EU.
·
Drawing on previous experience selling event stand space, the Senior BDM will sell both exhibition stand space and a leading meeting scheduling app.
·
Encompassing a consultative sales approach, the Senior Business Development Manager will build relationships with senior decision-makers within marketing departments, such as CMOs and Marketing Directors.
·
Taking charge of the whole new business sales cycle, The Senior Business Development Manager will prospect, pitch, and close new opportunities. Following this, the Senior BDM will retain these relationships until the end of the financial year.
·
The Senior Business Development Manager will draw on their previous experience within events to exceed new business targets and enjoy uncapped-on-target earrings.
·
The Senior BDM will attend competitor events in the UK, EU and USA.
The Progression: The successful Senior Business Development Manager will draw on their previous experience selling stand space and sponsorship to achieve sales targets.

Requirements: To be a Senior Business Development Manager in this exciting, leading, and fast-growing company, you must have:

3+ years of business-to-business sales.
·
Experience in the events industry is a must.
·
Proven experience in a new business role is required.
·
Experience selling to technology businesses and to the retail industry is desirable.
