Continued investment in industry leading product means our next product launch is never far away.This role will also provide the successful candidate links to both the Suwon global account management team as well as the local subsidiary Sales teams - regular, direct interaction to shape, agree and closely monitor the execution of our sales strategy will be a priority and therefore European and some international travel will be required.The EDO business is growing at a phenomenal rate and this position will be a key driver in the success of this part of the organisationPurpose of the Role:An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to become the European Head of Cinema within the European Display Office, reporting to the Head of Business Development in the pursuit of revenue growth. This is a varied role that requires flexibility and changing focus as our calendar year progresses.The successful candidate will take on full P&L responsibility for the 2nd generation LED Cinema Screen (launch planned for Q4’24) including all sales and marketing activity.You will develop, implement and support the European Cinema business with full strategic responsibility, supported by Technical pre-sales and HQ product planning teams. This includes leading existing accounts, to grow current clients as well as developing net new business to grow market share.You will also require a good knowledge of the Samsung’s Portfolio for Signage including LED, LCD signage, Monitor and Software Solutions as well as an understanding of the market dynamics, the eco-system of partners and what is required to be successful.You will be confident in engaging with both integrator and exhibitor companies and successful at pitching at all levels within the customer organisationRole and ResponsibilitiesKey Objectives:Provide Strategic Leadership for the Cinema team, responsible for sales planning and execution in conjunction with the European SubsidiariesWorking closely with HQ and your regional counterparts, play a hands-on role in setting and maintaining overall Cinema Business Strategy.Liaise with HQ in aspects of product development, partnership requirements & pricing strategy.Communicate and implement your short and long term strategy to the team for various solutions to support the growth of our Cinema, including opportunities for other product divisions.There will be key focus areas set by management and HQ, which you need to ensure you are aligned with, that support the central strategy with your team.Liaise with European HQ in understanding and supporting the development of Samsung’s European goalsDevelop end user relationships and partnerships to accelerate revenuesScreen potential business Opportunities by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating optionsKey ResponsibilitiesSet, implement and optimise strategy to maximise sales together with your team.Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or support in identifying new ways of reaching existing marketsSeek out the appropriate contact in an organisationMeet with customers/clients face to face or over the phoneFoster and develop relationships with customers/clientsUnderstand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet theseThink strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the businessWork strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changesHave a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about themAttend seminars, conferences and events where appropriateKeep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.Create a sales pipelineNegotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some casesIncrease sales of the businessSkills and QualificationsKey Competencies & Characteristics:Energetic, ambitious, driven, adaptable, delivery focused, entrepreneurial flair.Experience in influencing and dealing with key internal and external customers preferably at a Global and Pan-European levelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong technical and sales understanding of digital signage software solutions and eco-systemA proven track record of successfully managing external partnerships and driving business opportunitiesFlexible and adaptable - A "Can do" attitudeSolid analytical capabilities to understand and present success metrics for business opportunitiesStrong presentation skills with analytic and logical thinkingAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point & ExcelThe softer side of it...Lead from the front.
