Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with laboratory stakeholders, analyse complex processes, and drive the implementation of LIMS solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the life sciences domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner closely with laboratory stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements within the life sciences sector.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of laboratory processes, work-flows, and data management needs to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Lead the design and implementation of LIMS solutions, leveraging your expertise in laboratory informatics and technology.
Develop detailed business cases, requirements documentation, and project plans to support LIMS initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert in LIMS, offering guidance and recommendations on best practices and emerging trends in laboratory informatics.
Drive continuous improvement by monitoring key performance indicators and soliciting feedback from laboratory stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science).
Proven track record as a business analyst within the life sciences or healthcare industry, with specialised experience in LIMS implementations.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex laboratory requirements into practical LIMS solutions.
Hands-on experience with LIMS platforms such as LabWare, or similar systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Previous project management experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards within the life sciences sector is advantageous.
