At Drax, we are always evolving, and we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Commercial Transformation team.About the RoleAs part of the Commercial Transformation team, our Business Analysts enable effective decision-making, delivering a mix of both strategic and regulatory driven change, ensuring the right solution is delivered to the business.You’ll lead the development of compelling and robust business cases founded on accurate root cause of analysis; supported by detailed impacts analysis, evidence-based decision making and benefits measurement.You will have exposure to a wide range of Drax’s business activities.Working with the business and IT you’ll identify solution options and recommendations, ensuring the right outcome is delivered by defining detailed business requirements and modelling the as-is and to-be states, including processes, information, systems, and people.You’ll communicate and champion the change, supporting stakeholders to both understand and measure benefit realisation in order to validate success.As a senior member of the team, you will lead the scoping, shaping and analysis approach for medium to large, complex projects and select most appropriate means of representing business requirements in the context of a specific change initiative, ensuring traceability back to source.The role is of a mid-senior level and includes aspects of leadership and management responsibilitiesAbout YouYou will enjoy a challenge, like variety and relish working in a complex environment. With a proven track record as a Business Analyst, you will have a wide range of analysis skills in your toolkit. You will have strong facilitation, communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills as well as experience in business analysis techniques, high driven and the ability to innovate.You will be familiar with coaching and mentoring less experienced members of the team as well as leadership and line management.
