Senior Building Surveyor

My client is currently looking for a commercially aware Senior Building Surveyor for their Oxford office.

Responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor:

• Assist in drafting specifications and documentation essential for project tendering, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation from contractors.
• Support in preparing building regulation and planning applications, overseeing discussions with relevant authorities as needed.
• Create drawings, designs, and specifications for projects of various sizes.
• Evaluate tender submissions and provide recommendations to clients.
• Conduct and document Project Progress Meetings.
• Manage all administrative aspects of construction contracts.
• Monitor expenses closely to ensure projects stay within budget and are completed on schedule.
• Negotiate and finalize payment settlements with contractors.
• Fulfill tasks delegated by the team leader.

Requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor:

• MRICS is essential for this role
• Project experience would be highly advantageous for this role

On offer for the Senior Building Surveyor:

The starting salary for this position ranges from �55,000 to �60,000 depending on experience.
