My client has the exciting opportunity of an ambitious Senior Building Physics Engineer to join their team in their offices in Bristol. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to join a large multidisciplined consultancy to work on various projects across all sectors

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Thermal comfort analysis and CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy analysis.
• Undertake Building regulations compliance modelling and NABERS simulations
• assist on Passive design and low-zero carbon technology studies
• Aid with Net-zero operational energy studies for new and retrofit projects

Requirements for the Senior Building Physics Engineer role include:

• MSc within an engineering, architecture, or sustainability field
• Relevant strong practical experience and demonstratable knowledge within a building physics or sustainability engineering role
• Experience with heat transfer, energy, CIBSE guidance and RIBA.
• Good knowledge of IES-VE and UK Building regulations.
• Accredited user of IES-VE, CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant, and Low Carbon Energy Assessor level 5.
• Understanding of mechanical design would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and strong attention to detail
