You’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives and innovation in cancer care.What you’ll do:Oversee co-ordination, preparation, resource, equipment, reports and attendance for 14 different boards, per quarter.Schedule meetings, send invitations and proactively track attendancePrepare and distribute meeting notifications, correspondence, agenda materials, presentations and vital documents, in a timely manner, pre and post meetings.Support delivery of each Boards objectives providing a highly effective liaison service within the office and across HCA Healthcare UK’s facilities.Work closely with the Cancer Service Line team to lead and implement board projects and delivery of action points.Maintain an up-to-date tracker of all board projects- ensuring all key stakeholders are delivering on set projects.Maintain and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical areas.Support with diary management of operational team meetings and other diary and administrative management related to the efficient functioning of the cancer service line.What you’ll bring:Previous experience of working as a medical secretary, MDT or governance board coordinator in the healthcare setting.Substantial Medical Terminology knowledgeExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsExcellent general IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Package e.g. Word, Power Point, MS Teams, Excel, Visio, Sharepoint.Previous experience of Cancer Service delivery in the Healthcare SectorWhy HCA UK?Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world’s leading healthcare providers.
