Senior BIM Coordinator

Senior BIM Coordinator required to work for Principal Contractor JV on Hight Speed Rail London Tunnels Programme.
Based North West London
Contract 6 months initially - Inside IR35
Senior BIM Coordinator key skills required:
Experience with BIM coordination for complex building/infrastructure projects, in Bentley CDE.
Role Brief:
As a Senior BIM Coordinator, you will support the BIM lead with the stage 5 3D design and clash detection process using Bentley modelling software. You will guide teams in resolving design conflicts and improving quality standards. You will engage with the supply chain for the stage 5 delivery for shaft head houses, architectural, structural and MEP.
Main Responsibilities
•Updating 3D BIM model incorporating change requests.
•Run clash detections tests to find conflicts between structure, architecture, and MEP models. Lead discussions to resolve issues.
•Validate models and drawings match and provide reports.
•Develop clear 3D modelling protocols for the BIM lead to support validate and assure information exchanged.
•Analyse quality problems, recommend incremental improvements using software expertise.
•Conduct focused software training for team aligned to project needs.
•Provide timely support to model authors to resolve technical issues
