As a Senior Bids Manageryou will manage and lead the centralised bids function, whichprovides expert support on both anticipated and reactive pitchopportunities. This is a permanent role that can bebased out of either our Bristol or London office that supportshybrid working. The TeamBD, Marketing & Sales is awelcoming and dynamic team of experts, supporting lawyers, sectorsand service lines across our international business. We are nowlooking to expand our capacity for supporting and advising ourlawyers on international bids. What You'll DoReporting to the Director of BusinessDevelopment, you will be responsible for leading and line managingthe Bids team, which currently comprises of two Bid Managers and oneBids Executive. You will be delivering high quality bid responsesacross the entire bids lifecycle, from making decisions on go ahead,project managing the process and capturing learnings. Other key responsibilities include:Applying an expert eye to thecreation and editing of content as well as ensuring successfulsubmission of high quality, visually appealing RfP responsesSetting the Bids team objectivesthat feed down from your team level objectives, holding effective1:1s with them and holding them team to account for delivery,whilst fostering a collaborative and engaging environment wherethe team feel supported and investedWorking closely with the BD team toensure bids are tailored to particular industry sectorsLooking at systems and processesthat will continually drive efficiencies and improve the qualityof our bid responsesWorking with the Head of Pursuitsto coach the bid teamTracking and reporting on bidswin/loss dataLinking in with active pursuits toensure the right resource is assigned to support pursuits thatbecome live pitch opportunitiesBringing together best practice andlessons learnt from other bids across the Firm What we're looking forThis role will suit an experiencedSenior Bids Manager, or Bids Manager looking for a step up in theircareer.
