Title: Senior Bid Manager Location: Remote with occasional travel to head office in Manchester Salary: £35,000 +OTE (£45,000) Job Type: Permanent, full time. Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to spearhead the identification and response to tendering opportunities and new business prospects, fostering revenue growth and enhancing profitability. This pivotal role entails orchestrating the entire bid lifecycle, encompassing internal governance, win theme development, bid strategy, pricing, competitive analysis, and solution development while upholding impeccable standards of quality and compliance.About the organisation:Our client is an established provider of comprehensive employment services, facilitating workforce development and fostering meaningful connections between employers and individuals.Main Duties & Responsibilities: *
Oversee tendering activities across the organisation and its subsidiary companies. *
Maintain market intelligence to identify upcoming opportunities. *
Identify tendering opportunities through various channels. *
Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships and Development and senior leadership to prioritise tendering opportunities. *
Produce weekly tender tracking overviews for review by senior management. *
Design solutions and delivery models. *
Coordinate bidding projects and relevant staff. *
Develop strategies to meet and exceed buyer requirements. *
Lead detailed research to support tendering efforts. *
Craft compelling, persuasive tenders aligned with buyer specifications. *
Design social value propositions. *
Ensure timely submission and tracking of bids. *
Drive continuous improvement based on feedback and lessons learned. *
Provide necessary feedback to support organisational development and competitiveness.Person Specification:Education & Qualifications (Essential): *
A-level or equivalent in English. *
Relevant degree and/or sector experience.Knowledge & Experience (Essential): *
Experience writing, managing, and submitting winning tenders, preferably in employment and education sectors or related.

Proven track record in securing large amounts of funding through Dynamic Purchasing Systems or similar mechanisms. *
Project management experience. *
Experience of leading and conducting research to support tendering *
Experience designing services and delivery models *
Familiarity with welfare-to-work or education services. *
Experience in bid solution design and writing, including social value propositions.Skills & Abilities: *
Exceptional business writing skills with strong attention to detail. *
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant software applications. *
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. *
Excellent time management and organisational abilities. *
Strategic thinking coupled with creative problem-solving skills. *
Leadership qualities to effectively lead a team. *
Strong customer service orientation. *
Ability to work autonomously and manage workload efficiently.Personal Qualities: *
