This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Back End Developer skilled in NodeJS/ Typescript to join a scaling Music-tech company who have exciting growth plans over the next 12 months!
As the Senior Back End Developer you will architect and build scalable, and secure API’s supporting the growth whilst having given full autonomy to make decisions where you see fit. You will be working primarily on the Node.js, AWS-serverless stack, whilst owning platform APIs and database design and security.
Senior Back End Developer Responsibilities:
Design, architect, and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js and related technologies.
Build robust and secure RESTful APIs to support the various internal products.
Develop efficient data storage solutions and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.
Implement security best practices and protocols to safeguard sensitive data and protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Senior Back End Developer Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js
Solid understanding of Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js, Fastify, etc.
Advanced experience with cloud platforms, in particular AWS
Strong JavaScript experience and proficiency in TypeScript
Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc., including database design, querying, and optimization
Experience and understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
