Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description
We have an interesting opportunity for Senior Software and Control Engineer to join a specialist engineering company that provides highly accurate and cost-effective systems for a variety of aerospace, automotive, defence and motorsport applications.
You will be focussing on aerodynamic test equipment for wind tunnel testing as well as supplying state of the art test and robotic equipment for a myriad of other complex engineering applications.
£70,000 + 20% Annual Bonus.
Relocation Assistance Available To East Sussex. Ref: 23763
The role will involve working within the engineering team to support existing projects and to drive through the development of new, cutting edge solutions.
You will utilise your software and electronic skills to build systems for leading corporations in the UK and USA.
Required:
· Bachelor Degree
· Knowledge of modern high-level programming languages
· Knowledge of modern PLC hardware/software packages (Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens)
· Experience of servo motor / motion control advantageous
· Ability to interpret various electrical drawings/documents
· Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
· Confident communicator, ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
· Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and business process
