Senior Authorised Person (Low voltage - 33Kv)

Midlands based (Covering East & West Midlands distribution areas)

Job Description:

An 11kV or 33kV Senior Authorised Person (Overhead, Plant and Underground) is required to join the HS2 project team delivering New Connections, Diversions and Avoidance of Danger/ Plant Protection activity. This will include contributing to design reviews and collaborating/ working with Project Engineers/ Managers in addition to general construction management & operational duties.

The candidate must be DNO trained and authorised, ideally within the East or West Midlands licence areas, but applicants trained and authorised in the Wales and Southwest licence areas will also be considered. Candidates must have at least 8 years' experience and be ideally Authorised with Field Control.

Test gear and PPE are provided.

• The issue of safety documents up to 66kV.
• The organisation of individual projects.
• The cost effectiveness of individual projects.

• Own personal development.
• The identification of necessary physical resources.
• The effective use of contracts.
• The representation of the team and the Company at the individual level.
