What you will be doing PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans and conducts each assigned audit or project, focusing predominantly on the business units and associated brands across Alliance Healthcare and the Cencora International Business Group (comprising wholesale, pre-wholesale, manufacturer solutions and retail pharmacy operations).Timely and accurately completes audit work papers and documentation, following the Global Internal Audit methodology, professional standards, and Cencora policies.Executes a range of audit techniques, including data analysis tools and procedures, adapting audit execution strategies, fieldwork approaches and evidence gathering techniques to test the effectiveness and efficiency of complex business processes.Produces clear, balanced, contextualised, challenging and high-quality draft audit report contributions (of varying degrees of complexity), which summarise internal control and audit issues identified from fieldwork, for efficient review by the Audit Manager.Validates findings with auditees and management.Develops and agrees on quality and value-adding action plans, which are adequate, appropriate, and proportionate to the required risk remediation work, with auditees and management.Works with relevant stakeholders to track the completion of all agreed actions required to rectify audit issues identified during audits and escalates any overdue efforts as needed.Supports the development of the annual audit plan and risk assessment process and is involved in continuous improvement initiatives across the global team.As a strong team player, builds effective internal and external networks, develops and maintains key stakeholder relationships (including internal audit co-sourcing partners), and actively makes the Internal Audit Department a respected and valued partner within the organisation.Delivers assignments across a complex international business, requiring extensive business knowledge, vital networking and
relationship-building
skills, as well as the ability to recognise and adapt to different cultures and ways of working.Assists or leads other departmental projects/initiates as required.Willing to travel internationally up to 30% (mainly Europe, with occasional global travel). What your background should look like
