Senior AuditorAbingdonMonday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pmFull time – PermanentSalary is dependent on experienceWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Auditor to join our client based in their Abingdon office. This role would suit an already experienced Senior Auditor looking for a new challenge.This role will include:Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole tradersAudit of accounts in accordance with ISAs, including attendance at client premisesLiaise with clients to ensure accounts comply with accounting standardsDraft corporation tax computations, including analysis of items for taxSupport the development of trainees in a clear and concise manner, identify and solve knowledge gapsWork directly for Client Managers and Directors, supporting the delivery of technical knowledgeKeep up to date with legislative changes.Applicants will have:Essential: Qualified Accountant with audit and accounts experienceEssential: Previous experience working in a practice environmentDesirable: Background working in a corporate environmentEssential: UK company audit experience.Essential: Accounting software and Microsoft OfficeDesirable: CCH audit automation software or an equivalent packageOther skills:Excellent attention to detailAnalyticalProactive and enthusiastic to improve services and share knowledgeUse initiative and problem solveStrong oral and written communication skillsConfidence to build rapport and manage a professional relationship with clientsHighly organised, proven ability to meet deadlinesAble to work under pressureAble to build rapport and work well as part of a team.By applying for this role you give permission for Purely Recruitment to submit your personal information contained within your CV or any other relevant information provided in order for the prospective employer to review your application for the specific role applied for.
