Senior Audit Associate

This role will allow you to be an integral part of my client's specialist division focused on auditing, advising, and supporting a diverse range of charities and not-for-profit organisations (NFPs). From membership bodies to international NGOs, arts & culture charities to academies, and more, you'll play a crucial role in a fulfilling environment where your expertise and passion makes a tangible difference.
My client is pleased to offer flexible working arrangements, including the option to work on a term-time basis. This provides excellent flexibility while ensuring you can provide valuable support during our busiest periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting audits for a wide range of not-for-profit entities, including charities and educational organisations.
Providing comprehensive accounting services and guidance to our clients.
Preparation of accounts, including consolidated accounts, utilising both manual and computerised accounting systems.
Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance clients' accounting systems and controls.
Supervising, briefing, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
Qualifications:
ACA or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified.
Experience in audit planning, preparation of statutory accounts, and completing full audits.
Strong preference for audit work.
Genuine passion for supporting charity and NFP clients.
Professional communication skills with a warm and approachable demeanor.
Ability to effectively review and provide guidance to junior team members.
