About The Role
Our esteemed Family team is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for a Senior Associate to join our successful Central England team based in Northampton.
We’re one of the most respected legal firms in the country, and our Family team is a key part of the business. Our specialist family lawyers cover a full range of family work: helping clients to plan and protect at the start of a relationship, advising on modern family law issues, and dealing with all matters that may arise on a relationship breakdown. Our work is high quality and privately funded. Our Family team is Legal 500 and Chambers recognised and we have been shortlisted as Family Law Team of the Year in the national British Family Law Awards 2024.
What we need you to do:
Be proactive in business development, being able to identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing and cross selling
Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of family law covering both finance and private law children work
Be exceptionally strong in client care
Work with the Central England team head to continue to develop the team and service offering
Develop and maintain knowledge on issues withinfamily law, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge
Support and help train junior members of the team
About You
You will need:
5+ years or more PQE
Strong knowledge of family law – both finance and children
An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
To have strong commercial acumen
To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
