REF: HM53158Job Title: Interim Senior Associate - Fund PerformanceIndustry: Alternative InvestmentsEmployment Type: Temporary & ContractLocation: Central LondonSalary Guide: £65,000-£75,000 + bonus + benefitsOur client, a global alternative investment firm, is seeking an Interim Senior Associate to join their Fund and Analysis Team to cover an internal secondment. The successful candidate will provide support for strategic decision-making by being responsible for all reporting, liquidity management, and portfolio valuations for the portfolios assigned to them. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to work as part of a high-profile team in a commercially driven finance role. Starting ASAP, there is a strong potential for this to extend past the initial 6-9 month assignment.DescriptionResponsible for preparing and presenting correct and timely analytics and financial information for management. Prepare ongoing budgeting and forecasting of all European portfolios with the help of Asset Managers. Ensure efficient use of data management solutions and the delivery of excellent financial control of performance management tools/outputs. Manage portfolio liquidity requirements such as expense reimbursement, development of reliable cash flow forecast, and asset management fees. Assist with fundraising initiatives.Oversight of audits which involves checking the company's accounts, performing risk analysis, examining current practices, and providing advice on possible solutions. Provide deal support during both pre and post-acquisition which includes communicating regularly with lawyers and deal teams to ensure portfolios are boarded without error. Coordinate portfolio tax deliverables efficiently and apply best practice compliance standards where required. SkillsMust be a CFA charter holder / Chartered Accountant (ACA / CA) or equivalent. Must have a high level of attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of debt restructuring is preferred and real estate experience is an advantage.Must have excellent Excel skills and exceptional quantitative abilities. Prior exposure to analytics function. Must have the ability to priortise in a fast-paced environment and follow through on all assignments.
