Up and coming civil and structural design consultancy with around 40 staff are looking to grow their Southern division by adding a dynamic senior appointment to their team.
This role is for a Senior Structural/Civil Engineer, MICE or MIStructE with management and hands on design experience. The role will involve concept design for structures and overseeing design for the civils aspects of projects as well. If you are experienced in both civils and structural design work this would be advantageous. You will be managing clients, design teams, delivering projects and mentoring junior staff.
Good communication skills and a can do attitude are essential.
The firm was established in 2020, is rapidly growing and demonstrating repeated success. The company Directors are all highly qualified reputable individuals with big company backgrounds. They are a dynamic and flexible practice. The firm has over 40 staff and the Hertfordshire office has approx. 15. The Herts office is close to the mainline station or street parking is easy for those that like to drive.
Most of the firm's projects are in the industrial field - datacentres, sheds, warehouses, distribution centres, production plants, ports and storage facilities, manufacturing plants, car showrooms, Ultra Urban complex developments etc. so experience in these type of projects is highly desirable.
On top of good basic salary there will be an excellent bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave, excellent pension scheme, health benefit, flexible working, cycle to work scheme, socials, annual trip away, early finish every last Friday of the month, training for Chartership and subs paid.
