Job DescriptionAn elite US law firm with a distinguished Antitrust & Competition Group recognized for its excellence in navigating intricate antitrust issues, cartel investigations, and merger control laws are searching for a Senior Associate to join them in the second half of 2024.As a Senior Associate, you will play a vital role in our expanding London practice, working closely with our global antitrust team. You'll be involved in high-value, multifaceted UK/EU Antitrust and Competition cases, with opportunities to engage in advocacy and assume significant responsibility. Key Responsibilities:Handling complex UK/EU antitrust matters, including cartel investigations, merger reviews, and litigation.Taking ownership of cases.Leading groups of junior AssociatesCollaborate with multinational clients across various industries, including semiconductor, technology, energy, chemical, financial services, and retail sectors, to provide tailored legal advice on antitrust investigations, cartels, abuse of dominance cases, state aid law, and vertical agreements.Assist in high-profile transactions and mergers, such as advising on the antitrust aspects of multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, including complex cross-border deals involving multiple jurisdictions.Actively contribute to business development initiatives by conducting market research, preparing pitches, and participating in client meetings alongside partners to showcase the firm's capabilities and attract new clients.Person Specification:We welcome candidates with 3-6 years of relevant UK post qualification experience, though exceptional candidates with varying experience levels will be considered.Deep expertise in antitrust law, with demonstrated experience in handling complex cases.Proven ability to take initiative and assume responsibility.A charismatic personality, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
