Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, our growing team are passionate about generating clean energy and supporting the UK and Europe’s net zero ambitions. Our current portfolio includes five part or fully owned wind farm projects, each at different lifecycle stages. Our operational wind farms – Afton (100% equity), Beatrice (25%) and Överturingen (50%) – have an installed capacity of 320 MW (RRPL proportion), while our development projects – Benbrack onshore wind farm in the South West of Scotland (100%) and Inch Cape offshore wind farm off the East Coast (50%) – will deliver an additional 570 MW. We are committed to long term investment in the Scottish and UK market, onshore and offshore wind sectors in particular, and have strong growth ambitions to expand into the wider European market and other sustainable energy technologies. For more information on Red Rock Power and what it’s like to work with us, visit PurposeThe Senior Asset Manager is a prominent role in our business and will often take the lead for Red Rock Power in our dealings with project partners. Therefore, somebody with gravitas is required. The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for optimising the operational and financial performance of assets in the expanding portfolio whilst ensuring adherence to HSE standards. This will involve challenging, supporting and in many cases leading workstreams to seize improvement opportunities and mitigate risks. Establishing the right relationships with key partners and stakeholders is critical to establish an environment of cooperation and shared success. The Senior Asset Manager will be required to assert influence and control to best represent the interests of Red Rock Power in a number of joint venture projects.Job Description •Responsible for financial performance, operational performance and risk profile of the assigned assets.•Deliver strong stakeholder and contract management, utilising your strong understanding of renewables contracts and relationships to deliver value.•Maintain/develop external relationships across industry to deliver value across the portfolio.•Line management of members of the Asset Management department.•Engage in Asset Management decision making with a focus on whole life value. Establish Asset Management Plans according to the Asset Management Strategy and drive improvement against agreed asset KPIs.•Continually improve financial performance through improvement actions or cost reduction initiatives.•Establish effective and efficient processes, in line with ISO 55001, to maintain certification and challenge established ways of working. This includes ownership of key strategic documents within the ISO 55001 accredited Asset Management system.•Responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality reporting, with support from the wider team.•Responsible for compliance with HSE, Quality and corporate governance standards.•Advise the board members in making key decisions.•Support the development and implementation of the Red Rock Power Growth Strategy.
