Senior Architect Job in Chalk Farm, London A Senior Architect job has just become available with a high-end developer in London. Our client is an established property developer working across high-end residential units and apartments in London's most prime locations. Each project is crafted by the team and undergoes meticulous design, development, and construction.Essential disciplines such as architecture, interior design, project management, and construction are all housed under one roof. They take full accountability for every aspect of their work, driven by a collective dedication to revolutionising the standards of new home construction, from conception to completion.The team of 30 includes Architects, Design Managers, Site and Construction Managers, Designers, Quantity Surveyors, and a wider construction team.Role & ResponsibilitiesWhile the project has only recently been confirmed, you can expect to be actively engaged in RIBA stages 1 to 3, with plans to progress through all stages until completionSpecifying design elements with suppliers and involvement in budgets and procurementWorking closely with in-house interior designers, contractors/consultants, builders, and external suppliers from inception to completionLiaising with clients and attending sites.Required Skills & ExperienceDegree educated with an architecture qualification and have a minimum of 2 years of high-end residential post-qualification experienceExperience in dealing directly with high-end residential clients and on-site experience with the ability to take accurate measurements and surveysMust have strong planning experience and ideally be comfortable working on each stage up to completionHand sketching skills for clientsCreation of NBS construction drawing packages is desirableArchiCAD, Microstation or AutoCAD skills are highly desirable, but not essentialStrong in the technical elements of projects, and able to check technical drawings with confidenceAn appreciation of classical architecture and art through to current design themes and trendsMust have some experience and/or knowledge of high-end interiors.What you get back£45,000 - £60,000 (salary is flexible DOE)25 days holiday + bank holidaysDiscretionary Christmas bonus1 day working from home per week.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
