Senior Applications Scientist

Pleased to confirm that LSR is working with a new client in the South of the UK that specialises in using in-vitro and in-vivo scientific instrumentation including Spectrometers to support their customers drug development a variety of analytical techniques in the US, UK & Europe.They're looking to grow their UK team with a seasoned Application Scientist to work closely with their team in the South of England and liaise with multiple teams across the business, carry out demos and provide any additional training if necessary.Key responsibilitiesLiaise with new and existing clientsWorking cross-functionally with the sales team to ensure a quality serviceProvide and store accurate sample preparation informationPerform analytical reportsDeliver training courses to end-users and colleaguesAssist in laboratory maintenanceRequirementsCustomer service and results drivenExtensive and accurate report-writing skillsHigher education in a scientific fieldTeam playerEducation and ExperienceUndergraduate degree in Chemistry (preferably Analytical or Pharmaceutical Chemistry) required.1 year Experimental Master’s degree is desirable.2+ year of experience working in industry is desirable.Experience with HPLC will be beneficial.Work experience in a Pharmaceutical CompanyTo find out more, please contact Reece Thomas
