Senior Android Developer

Tomorrow in association with a Global Digital Media Business is seeking an experienced Senior Android Software Developer to join our talented mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality Android applications, implementing new features, optimising performance, and maintaining existing codebases.Key Responsibilities:- Implement UI and logic changes according to design specifications- Review and approve code contributions from other developers- Refactor and optimise complex codebases for improved maintainability and performance- Suggest architectural designs and implementation approaches- Perform performance tuning and optimisation tasks- Write comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests- Troubleshoot and fix bugs across various components of the applicationRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android app development- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android Studio- Experience with the full software development life cycle- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills- Strong verbal and written communication abilities- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively- Mentoring skills to provide guidance and feedback to junior developersPreferred Qualifications:- Experience with UI animations and performance tuning techniquesIf you are a skilled Android developer looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.Tomorrow is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
