The Senior Analyst is responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. The role is expected to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to all levels of the organization to ensure the achievement of the strategic goals of the business. In addition, the Senior Analyst will maintain existing and develop new reporting solutions and implement tools to drive efficiencies through various processes in the organization.
Typical Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the marketing analytics capability.
Creation, maintenance and integrity of data across reports, dashboards and scorecards used by marketing and commercial teams, with scope to cover the global Essentra Component business as required.
Work closely with key internal stakeholders to identify risks, trending and actions to take regarding delivering on performance metrics, business results, adherence to operational standards and targets.
Communicates findings and insights to stakeholders and provides recommendations in order to improve business performance.
Provides reporting solutions and prioritizes agreed timelines with ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas.
Testing and improving current analytics processes.
Creation of visualizations and dashboards that engage with end users and drives actionable insights.
Proactive approach to analysis of the market by identifying gaps from current execution providing recommendations to achieve strategic goals.
Create a close working relationship with central Digital Marketing teams (PPC and Organic) to improve website performance and engagement.
Ownership of projects effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management to ensure timely completion as agreed with stakeholders.
Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and benefits of new business initiatives and strategies.
Involvement with Tag Management solution.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics/analytics, marketing or related field.
Experience in business analysis, continuous improvement / lean manufacturing leadership, analytical role or a related field.
Advanced technical skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft BI, MS Office
Ability to travel up to 30%.
Self-starter with the ability to develop and implement strategies in line with the company's business vision.
Excellent problem-solving, reasoning and analytical ability.
Experienced in deploying data-driven decision making.
Ability to interpret complex information and identify improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates an aptitude for attention to detail in their work.
Driven by success with a high degree of energy, motivation and confidence.
Ability to manage multiple projects with cross functional teams from all levels of the organization.
Ability to collaborate, motivate and influence stakeholders to accomplish goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

This is a hybrid role with expectation of working in either our Jarrow or Kidlington office 2-3 days per week.
