Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner

We are looking for a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner to join a Private Hospital close to Central London. This full-time anaesthetic role is based in London and offers a salary of £50,000 p/a and excellent benefits.
Please note this position requires you to achieve a professional working relationship with all Department Users and Hospital colleagues.

Contribute to the development and evaluation of practice
Act as mentor to unqualified support staff and pre-registration students
Participate in the planning and delivery of care during the perioperative period
Ensure all anaesthetic equipment is checked and available before the start of the list
Recognize the workload of colleagues and provide support as necessary
To apply for this Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner role, you must be a Registered Nurse with a recognized postgraduate qualification. You will also require:
A registered ODP with a cert HE/Diploma
Significant post-registration skills in the anaesthetic area
Ability to act as a preceptor to newly qualified staff
To monitor and care for the sedated patients during procedures
Knowledge of patient confidentiality
