We have a great opening for a Senior Administrator to join our Healthcare team at HMP Thameside, a category B Prison located in Thamesmead, South-East London.
Working within the busy healthcare team your role will be varied and dynamic. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday - 08:00 – 17:00 (37.5 hrs)
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £ 26,282per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doingAs our Senior Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will
Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site.
Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls.
General office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning, faxing etc.

Qualifications & Experience required
NVQ 2 Business Administration or Equivalent
Wide ranging experience of office routines and procedures including arranging meetings/appointments
Good written & oral communication skills
A good understanding of prioritising diverse workload often under pressure
Experience of delegation and workload planning
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
