Senior Administrator, Data and Client Services

Reporting To: Manager, Data and Client Services
Description
Work as part of the team to ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of Client Data whilst ensuring that we are compliant with relevant regulations at all times
Key Responsibilities
Undertake all aspects of administration relating to clients cash and assets.
Follow up to date departmental procedures and controls
Complete daily/weekly/monthly and yearly check lists
Keep up to date with all changes within the industry relevant to the department
Monitoring daily workflows within the team to ensure both regulatory and internal deadlines are met
Responsible for checking and authorising of daily tasks within the team
Assist with daily processes where required
Follow departmental procedures and contribute to updates as required in relation to industry changes
Provide technical assistance within the team and to other members of staff as needed
Assist with ongoing reviews and monitoring of processes within the department and implementation of improvements where applicable
Communicate with outside agencies as necessary in relation to daily workflows
Contribute where required to various ad-hoc projects
Deal with general queries received by the team
In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Knowledge and experience of FCA Regulations and Market Practice relevant to Private Clients
Sound technical knowledge of the practices and procedures carried out within the department in relation to Client &/or Securities data, regulatory reports and charging of fees
Demonstrate 5 years relevant industry experience
Understanding of KYC and AML documentation
Some experience of client on-boarding processes
Knowledge of securities pricing and reference data covering equities, bonds and funds
Educated to minimum of A level standard, with minimum of Grade C at GCSE English and Maths
Preferably holder of IOC (formerly known as IAQ) or equivalent CISI qualification
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to prioritise work flows within the team and meet strict deadlines
Ability to maintain required standards when working under pressure
Good attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Good understanding of Microsoft programmes, having a minimum of basic skills in MS Word and intermediate skills in MS Excel.
